Now my searching for quotes like this is obviosuly related to the Ex. This quote at first, felt right but at the same time I couldn’t work out how it fit.

The time that it has taken to realise a few things about it, shows I have way too much time on my hands.

Eventually I came to the conclusion that the line “People change so you can learn to let go” was the most important line.

I kept thinking to myself “well (the ex) has changed I guess…” But I couldn’t really pinpoint an exact moment where I felt she had changed enough since we got together that meant I should just up and leave. (I hate quitting). But then I realised that is the exact thing that means I should quit. She hasn’t changed. She is just really good at covering tracks, lying, making me beleive that i’m either in the wrong or its someone else fault or that she loves me.

The point is I have just realised that her texting someone else saying “you’re my whole world, my everything” is really not something I should have to put up with after getting the excuse “I was drunk, I didn’t know what I was doing”. Her telling me that she still has feelings for her ex and has been talking to him and seeing him behind my back, isn’t something I should have put up with, her having him in OUR bed isn’t something I should have put up with, her giving me things her ex gave her while we were together as gifts wasnt something i should have put up with and her continuous lies isn’t something I should have ever put up with.

Don’t get me wrong, she wasn’t all bad. I have some great memories with her.

I loved pride, the night before pride was one of the greatest (yet scariest) nights of my life. But it will probably remain my favourite pride ever (despite the rain) for a long long long long time.

Despite how much my memories of valentines day are tainted by her giving me things that she had been given by someone else, I still have to say it was the best valentines day I have ever had. The candles, the meal everything I have never felt so in love.

The first time she told me she loved me while we were in her mums bed (lol – no as bad as it sounds) my stomach and heart were a right mess lol but it was an amazing moment

The days we took shannon to the aquarium and to the zoo were awesome Im not really the biggest animal person but how can you not have a great day when someone is taking endless amounts of pictures of giraffes and they scratch

in a heart on the fence! It was really cute ok don’t judge me!!!!

New years eve saw no tears shed from me for once and everyone seemed to have a pretty good night followed by a pretty good chinese! Although the lack of chow mein noodles disgusts me.

We welcomed in the new year to the “song of 2009″ I gotta feeling by those Black eyed peas! Although Lady Gaga was the most overplayed song of the night and even today I am singing “GA GA OH LA LA” at every possible opportunity.

Anyway welcoming a new year in with the best friends is the best way to do it!

George said last night that he doesn’t think 2010 is going to be any better then 2009 and although I see where he is coming from if 2010 is just as bad at least we know what to expect!
